Culture

Welcome to the Chinese Island ‘Culture’ page.

There is quite a lot of cultural information dotted around Chinese Island. Some of the information can be found at the entrance to some of the major buildings on the island such as the Tongfu Inn restaurant, the Beijing courtyard house and the Chinese College. To find the cultural information at these sites look for the following signs:

Exhibits

In addition to the concrete and marble information signs on the island, there are a number of exhibitions in the Chinese College in the centre of the island. These include exhibitions on the Terracotta Warriors, Chinese characters and Chinese musical instruments.

Each exhibit has the textual and audio information described above. In addition, video information is also available by looking for the blue signs on the walls near each exhibition that tell you how to play the videos (by clicking on the walls themselves).

Quests

Another way in which cultural information is made available is in the form of quests. Please see our “Quests’ page for more information.
